ERNIE Bot User Base Reaches 45 Million with Over 500 Plugins

At yesterday's Baidu World 2023 conference, the ERNIE 4.0 large model was officially launched and began invitation-based testing.
According to official reports, ERNIE 4.0 started small-scale deployment in September and has shown nearly 30% improvement in performance over the past month. It is claimed that ERNIE 4.0 has made significant progress in its four core capabilities: understanding, generation, logic, and memory. While improvements in understanding and generation are similar, the enhancements in logic and memory are even more substantial, with logic improving nearly three times as much as understanding, and memory improving more than twice as much.
Since its public release on August 31, ERNIE Bot has reached a user base of 45 million, with 54,000 developers, 4,300 scenarios, 825 applications, and over 500 plugins.
Data shows that since the launch of Baidu Wenku's AI features, they have been used by over 13 million users, with total feature usage exceeding 100 million times. Baidu Input Method's AI writing assistant "Super Writer," which offers features like high-EQ communication, witty comments, and predictive text, has received over 100 million requests with a user approval rate exceeding 80%.
A month ago, Baidu launched the Lingjing Plugin Platform, which has already attracted 27,000 developer applications, covering fields such as law, workplace, and education.
Additionally, the Qianfan Large Model Platform has become China's largest large model development platform, hosting 42 mainstream large models and covering nearly 500 scenarios across various industries.
