In September this year, Taobao launched the AI model application 'Taobao Wenwen' for internal testing, allowing users to participate via the Taobao App search or invitation codes.

At the time, Taobao stated that Taobao Wenwen is an innovative attempt to iterate on the e-commerce search and shopping guide functionality within the Taobao App. It aims to combine user inputs with deep synthesis algorithms to provide products and content that better align with consumer habits.

Data shows that since its internal testing began in September, Taobao Wenwen has been experienced by over 5 million users. Among them, highly active users ask an average of more than 8 questions per day, with some individual users asking over 4,000 questions in total.

It is reported that the application is about to launch a Double 11 promotion mode. Taobao Wenwen will integrate promotional discounts such as direct price cuts and bulk purchase discounts to generate and provide the most cost-effective purchasing recommendations, thereby reducing the decision-making burden for users.
