ZTE to Launch Latest AI Server Supporting Large Model Training
-
On October 11, ZTE stated on an interactive platform that as a mainstream domestic server manufacturer, it has been actively addressing the application demands in the artificial intelligence (AI) field and will timely launch server products to meet various AI application scenarios. Specifically, the company has adopted the following two strategies:
First, to meet the training and inference needs of small and medium-sized models, ZTE launched the G5 series servers in January this year. Some of these servers are heterogeneous computing servers designed for intelligent computing, equipped with 10 to 20 heterogeneous computing intelligent acceleration engines.
Second, to address the demands of large AI model training and inference, ZTE will focus on the research and development of next-generation intelligent computing center infrastructure products. These products include high-performance AI servers and data processing units (DPUs), which can support large model training and inference. Among them, ZTE plans to release a new AI server supporting large model training within this year.
