Questions like "How to write an essay about spring?" "What are ABAB-style idioms?" "Do plants need sleep?" "How to solve this geometry problem?" were among the many queries posed by children and parents visiting the trade fair during the weekend. At the Zuoyebang exhibition area in the National Convention Center, the "Galaxy" large AI model provided quick and accurate answers to these questions.

Staff introduced the Galaxy model as an education-focused AI, capable of multi-disciplinary knowledge responses, assisting students in creative writing across learning stages, and offering features like autonomous questioning and tutoring companionship.

AI large models, shorthand for pre-trained artificial intelligence models, are making waves across industries like education, finance, telecommunications, and healthcare at this year's trade fair. For instance, at Henan Children's Hospital, patients can soon use self-service kiosks or mobile apps powered by the "Tianyan" model for smart triage and AI medical consultations, reducing wait times and easing staff workload. The model is also being applied in judicial services, aiding in drafting legal documents and case references.

Trade fair exhibitors showcased how these models are upgrading digital services to intelligent ones. A digital human service provider noted that previous versions could only handle preset Q&A, but with large models, they now learn and adapt dynamically.

Innovation firms like August Melon Technology debuted their "Qingce" model, trained on 170 million patent, IP, and scientific data points, offering businesses AI-powered insights on innovation positioning and competitive strategies.

"With the power of digital technology, we are moving towards a more diverse, convenient, interconnected, and intelligent world of services," said Meng Pu, Chairman of Qualcomm China. He believes that the development of new technologies, business models, and scenarios has further enhanced the tradability of services, adding new opportunities and vitality to the innovation and development of service trade. Taking the Service Trade Fair as an opportunity, a new era of more digital and intelligent service trade has begun.
