The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education has created distinct differences from traditional classroom teaching methods. AI teaching is a new educational model based on modern technology that offers personalized learning experiences tailored to different learning styles and abilities. In contrast, traditional teaching primarily relies on the teacher's individual skills and instructional methods.

First, AI teaching can provide customized instruction based on students' individual needs and ability levels. This approach allows for precise teaching tailored to each student's characteristics and requirements, enabling them to learn at their own pace and in their own way, thereby mastering knowledge more effectively. In comparison, traditional teaching often depends on the teacher's instructional level and style, requiring students to learn collectively within the entire class, which fails to meet individual needs.

Second, AI teaching enables adaptive learning. Adaptive learning refers to the AI system's ability to automatically adjust learning content and difficulty based on a student's progress and comprehension, allowing them to learn effectively at their own level. Traditional classroom teaching, however, requires teachers to manually adjust content and difficulty, making it challenging to achieve truly personalized instruction.

Additionally, AI teaching can provide automated assessment and feedback. The AI system can evaluate and provide feedback on students' learning progress automatically, offering timely guidance to help them better grasp knowledge and improve learning outcomes. In traditional classroom teaching, teachers must manually assess and provide feedback, which is often neither timely nor comprehensive.

In summary, there are clear differences between AI teaching and traditional teaching. AI teaching offers personalized learning experiences, enables customized and adaptive learning, and provides automated assessment and feedback, allowing students to acquire knowledge more efficiently. Traditional teaching, on the other hand, relies heavily on the teacher's individual skills and methods, making it difficult to achieve true personalization. As technology advances, AI teaching will become increasingly widespread, emerging as a significant trend in the future of education.
