It is reported that iHeima began collecting candidate lists from institutions and judges in February and opened an online self-registration channel for enterprises. A total of 375 AI industrial applications participated in the selection, covering numerous industries and fields such as office work, consumer, education, healthcare, culture and tourism, media, finance, automotive, manufacturing, enterprise services, security, and audio-visual. This ranking is primarily evaluated through three dimensions:

1. Technical Dimension: The technology is forward-looking, with a leading team willing to invest continuously in R&D.

2. Application Dimension: The application is innovative, achieving real-world AI implementation and solving practical industry/domain/scenario problems.

3. Commercialization Dimension: The product or service has achieved commercialization, with a validated business model and breakthroughs in revenue.

Application Name: Pangu Weather Model

Award Reason: Huawei Cloud has developed a three-dimensional deep neural network model based on artificial intelligence methods, named the Pangu Weather Model. It surpasses traditional numerical methods in forecasting accuracy for certain meteorological elements and improves inference efficiency by tens of thousands of times. The model has extended the forecast lead time of the world's most advanced European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) system by approximately 0.6 days.
