Kaedim Raises $15 Million to Advance AI-Powered 3D Asset Creation Solutions

Kaedim recently announced the successful completion of a $15 million Series A funding round, which will be used to support its marketplace and AI-based solutions in the 3D content creation field. The startup recently launched a new AI-driven marketplace featuring 10,000 pre-generated 3D assets while also showcasing user-created 3D assets. This funding will help Kaedim expand its platform, team, and market share.
A16z Games led this funding round, with participation from Pioneer Fund. Other investors include Scott Gelb (former President of Riot Games), Nate Mitchell (Co-founder of Oculus), Eden Chen (CEO of Pragma), and Siqi Chen (CEO of Runway), among others. These investments will provide strong support for Kaedim's development.
Kaedim is committed to simplifying 3D asset content creation and has released a new suite of solutions designed to assist creators' efforts rather than replace them. These tools include 3D workflow solutions integrated with existing workflows (such as Unreal and Blender) and a suite of intelligent plugins for 3D modeling processes, such as automatic UV unwrapping. Additionally, it offers a managed service for custom 3D asset generation, which utilizes Kaedim's machine learning models while providing other enterprise-level features. Kaedim CEO Konstantina Psoma stated in a declaration: "Over the past five years, we have witnessed tremendous growth in 3D technology across multiple markets, including e-commerce, gaming, 3D printing, and AR/VR. We are empowering the next phase of 3D content creation, akin to what DALL-E has contributed to 2D images and conceptual art."
