Douyin has once again launched a new social product called "Hualu," this time incorporating AI elements. Following Duoshan and Feiliao, Douyin is making another push in the social networking arena.
"Hualu" is a character-based chat product powered by ByteDance's Skylark large model. Users can engage in real-time chat interactions with AI characters that have distinct personalities and diverse backgrounds, fulfilling needs such as casual daily conversations, in-depth discussions, or role-playing storylines. This innovative social approach undoubtedly provides users with a brand-new interactive experience.
Upon entering "Hualu," users are presented with a chat interface featuring AI virtual characters recommended by the platform. Users can interact with these virtual characters via text or voice input. The virtual characters respond based on the user's input and their own predefined tasks. Through multiple interactions, users can make decisions that influence the direction of the conversation, thereby creating a rich and dynamic story world. If users are not particularly interested in the current virtual character, they can switch to others, much like swiping through short videos, to experience different styles of virtual character interactions. Currently, Hualu includes a variety of intelligent agents in genres such as romance, fantasy, and riddles to cater to diverse user preferences.
It is reported that Hualu has made significant technological advancements, offering AI-driven interactive entertainment services with high freedom of experience.
