Huawei Cloud's Pangu Model Passes Financial Large Model Standard Compliance Verification
-
According to Huawei's official announcement, in December 2023, during the Trusted AI Large Model Standard Compliance Verification organized by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), Huawei Cloud's Pangu Model successfully completed the financial large model verification and achieved an excellent rating (4+ level). This achievement not only highlights the outstanding performance of Huawei Cloud's Pangu Model in the financial sector but also makes it one of the first products to pass both financial and industry large model standard compliance verifications.
The verification was conducted based on the "Evaluation Methods for Large-Scale Pre-trained Models and Applications for Industries Part 1: Financial Large Models," covering 3 major capability domains, 8 sub-domains, and over 30 capability items. The evaluation focused on the richness of financial scenarios, including financial scenarios, scenario performance, and human efficiency optimization effects. It also thoroughly examined the model's support capabilities in language, speech, vision, and multimodal tasks, as well as the maturity of its applications in terms of data compliance, model controllability, and service reliability.
In terms of financial scenario richness, Huawei Cloud's Pangu Model performed exceptionally well. It not only demonstrated comprehensive capabilities in general financial scenarios such as marketing, risk control, customer service, and investment research but also showed strong practicality in specialized scenarios like banking, insurance, and funds. In terms of capability support, Huawei Cloud's Pangu model performs exceptionally well, supporting various tasks including language, speech, vision, and multimodal functions. It demonstrates strong performance in financial knowledge recognition, understanding, generation, reasoning calculation, speech expression, image recognition, and visual risk control, with each capability achieving high accuracy and acceptability.
Additionally, Huawei Cloud's Pangu model has made significant achievements in application maturity aspects such as data classification and grading, attack prevention, output accuracy, local deployment, scalability, and compatibility.
Notably, Huawei Cloud's Pangu model and its empowered cloud services support multiple deployment modes, including public cloud, hybrid cloud, and dedicated cloud, providing financial industry clients with great flexibility. Considering the financial industry's high requirements for local deployment, data security, and stability, Huawei Cloud launched the industry's first hybrid cloud with large model capabilities—Huawei Cloud Stack—last year, aiming to build a solid computing foundation and provide clients with a one-stop "build-train-use-manage" solution.
