The AI large model industry has experienced rapid development in recent years, becoming a new high ground for global technological competition. Breakthroughs in AI large model technology have brought unprecedented opportunities to the industry. Currently, AI large models are widely used in fields such as natural language processing, image recognition, and speech recognition, playing a significant role in scenarios like intelligent customer service, intelligent recommendations, and autonomous driving.

MIIT: Releases China's First Personal Information Protection AI Large Model 'Zhiyu' Assistant

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website released a notice on the quality of telecommunications services in the fourth quarter of 2023. It emphasized deepening the protection of user rights in apps. A series of standards, including the 'Mobile Internet Application (APP) Compliance Development Management Evaluation Specification' and the 'Mini Program Personal Information Protection Specification,' were formulated to guide enterprises in lawful and compliant operations.

The 'SDK User Rights Protection Industry Collaborative Plan' was implemented, organizing the selection of outstanding cases for improving mobile internet application service capabilities to promote a healthy industry ecosystem. China's first personal information protection AI large model, the 'Zhiyu' assistant, was released, providing intelligent services for APP development, operation, testing, protection, and policy interpretation. Efforts were made to address prominent issues such as unwanted redirects via 'shake-to-jump,' with 81 non-compliant APPs and SDKs publicly reported to continuously purify the mobile internet service environment.

Analysis of the Development of the AI Large Model Industry The AI large model industry is a capital-intensive, talent-intensive, and data-intensive sector. The emergence of large models relies on computational infrastructure, algorithms, and high-quality data. As model complexity increases exponentially, continuous breakthroughs in algorithms enhance the accuracy and efficiency of these models. Additionally, the characteristics of big data determine that the richness and cleanliness of training data are crucial to the performance of AI algorithms. Therefore, enterprises with abundant capital, talent, and data resources will have a competitive edge.

Despite the vast potential of the AI large model industry, it faces numerous challenges. Technologically, forming a "data-model-application" flywheel to achieve a closed loop from training to practical application is key. Moreover, as model sizes grow, training costs increase exponentially, driving up the demand for computational power, storage, and other resources.

From a market perspective, while AI large models have broad application areas, implementing them in specific scenarios and creating value remains a challenge for the industry.

In summary, the AI large model industry shows positive development trends in technological breakthroughs, market applications, industry participation, and competitive landscapes. However, the industry also faces significant challenges that require continuous innovation, enhanced collaboration, and optimal resource utilization. Looking ahead, with ongoing technological advancements and market expansion, the AI large model industry is poised for even greater development opportunities and growth potential.

Huawei's AI Large Models Deepen Industry Integration At the Huawei Developer Conference held last July, Huawei Cloud unveiled the Pangu Model 3.0, which boasts multimodal capabilities such as text-to-image, text-to-text, text-to-code, and text-to-video. The model adopts a three-tier decoupled architecture (5+N+X): the L0 layer comprises five foundational models offering diverse industry-specific skills; the L1 layer includes N industry-specific models trained on sector-specific data; and the L2 layer provides clients with more refined scenario-specific models tailored to particular applications or business needs.

Zhang Ping'an, Huawei's Executive Director and CEO of Huawei Cloud, stated that the Pangu Model focuses on value-driven scenarios like product R&D, software engineering, production supply, marketing, and customer operations, aiming to deepen its industry applications in sectors such as government, finance, manufacturing, mining, railways, pharmaceuticals, and meteorology.

This suggests that Huawei's communication model is likely a new vertical model trained and incubated by the Pangu Model, specializing in the telecom sector.

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei has also emphasized that the future of AI models will be highly dynamic, with contributions extending beyond software platforms to significantly boost industrial and agricultural productivity (98% impact vs. 2% direct contribution).

Analysts believe the launch of Huawei's communication model will accelerate the advent of the 5G-A era, as the underlying model technology will enhance industry network capabilities, productivity, and competitiveness, driving rapid sectoral advancement.

5.5G, or 5G-A, represents an intermediate phase between 5G and 6G. During last year's MWC Shanghai, Huawei's Deputy Chairwoman, Rotating Chairwoman, and CFO Meng Wanzhou highlighted that 5.5G is an inevitable evolution of 5G networks. What is the current market share of AI large models?

The AI large model industry is a rapidly developing field, and market share is constantly changing. Due to continuous technological innovation and market expansion, new participants and solutions are emerging, making the market share dynamic. Additionally, the market share of the AI large model industry is influenced by various factors, including technological strength, product quality, market strategy, partnerships, and brand influence.

From current market trends, the market share of the AI large model industry exhibits a decentralized characteristic. As the industry is in a rapid development phase, a stable market structure has yet to form. Many companies and research institutions are actively investing in the research and development of AI large models, aiming to secure a position in the market. Consequently, the market share is relatively evenly distributed among multiple participants, with no clear monopolies or dominant players.

In summary, the current market share of the AI large model industry is characterized by dynamic changes and decentralization. Specific market share conditions require analysis and evaluation based on multiple dimensions, such as companies, regions, and application fields.
