-
Recently, Qiku Network announced securing 5 million yuan in funding, embarking on a new journey of 'AI + Gaming'. This three-month-old company successfully attracted investment from a Baidu executive and a renowned angel investor at a valuation of 30 million yuan.
Records show that the company is led by Baidu executive and Chairman Wu Yufu, founded in December 2023, with only three team members so far, including one programmer and one project assistant. Using OpenAI's ChatGPT large model as their technological foundation, they work tirelessly every day to develop 'AI + Gaming' applications. Although the product has not yet been launched, it has already garnered industry attention.
Wu Yufu is the founder and CEO of Firestone Holdings and has extensive experience in China's gaming industry. He founded Tianxia Technology, China's first self-developed online game development company, and later established Firestone Software, successfully creating the well-known game 'Water Margin Q'. Wu Yufu's involvement provides Qiku Network with a strong background and leadership experience. Wu Yufu stated that the 'AI era' has arrived, bringing new possibilities to the gaming industry. He believes that only by embracing AI technology can gaming companies stand out in the market competition. He pointed out that OpenAI's latest 'text-to-video' model, Sora, has already had a tremendous impact on the gaming industry, indicating that the sector is on the verge of disruptive transformation.
