    In the early hours of today, OpenAI's GPT Store officially went live! OpenAI stated that users have already created over 3 million GPTs. Currently, GPT Store is primarily available to ChatGPT Plus, team, and enterprise users.

    GPT Store will provide creators with a platform to explore, showcase, and publish AI natural language models, allowing developers to earn commercial benefits by creating GPTs. OpenAI plans to launch the GPTs Builder revenue program in the first quarter of 2024. As a first step, Builders in the U.S. will receive compensation based on user interactions with their GPTs. With numerous built-in development tools based on GPT-4, the GPT Store will lower the technical threshold for developing underlying models/applications, facilitating the enrichment and output of large model applications.

    GPT Store Developer Interface

    Of course, similar to Apple's App Store, review processes are essential for the large model store. Prior to the GPT Store's launch, OpenAI established a new review system to ensure customized GPTs comply with brand guidelines, usage policies, and safety standards. OpenAI has also announced a new version of the ChatGPT team plan for teams of various sizes: ChatGPT Team. This plan requires payment and is primarily aimed at small teams of around 150 people, costing $25 per user per month. ChatGPT Team users will have access to GPT-4, DALL-E 3, and OpenAI's advanced data analysis features.

    OpenAI promises that ChatGPT Team's data and conversations will not be used to train any of its models. ChatGPT Team users can customize GPTs according to their team's specific needs or further develop using other GPTs available in the store.

    ChatGPT Team Pricing As a regular user, you can search for specific GPTs based on your needs or explore useful GPTs through OpenAI's featured categories such as popular picks, DALL·E, writing, and more. Currently, the official categories include popular picks, DALL·E, writing, research, programming, education, and lifestyle, covering a wide range of needs.

    To access the GPT Store interface, simply click on "Explore GPTs" to view all available GPTs. To highlight high-quality GPTs, the GPT Store also features weekly recommended picks and community trends, supporting truly useful GPTs. In categories like writing and research, the most popular GPTs are prominently listed. Currently on the GPT Store, the recommended GPTs cover areas such as sports, academic research, reading and learning, including:

    AllTrails: Personalized hiking route recommendations;

    Consensus: Search and synthesize results from 200 million academic papers; Code Tutor: Expand your coding skills with Khan Academy's programming tutor

    Canva: Design presentations or social media posts Books: Helps you find your next read.

    CK-12 Flexi AI Tutor: Learn math and science anytime, anywhere. As a milestone event for OpenAI, GPT Store is expected to integrate existing small and medium-sized models to explore commercialization and market experience, driving the explosion of AI-native applications. We will likely frequently discover many interesting large model products on social networks. With the continuous emergence of creators' works, the first batch of GPTs topping the charts will also face the test of popularity among developers and users.
