On January 5th, according to The Verge, OpenAI stated in an email to GPT Builders participants that the GPT Store will officially launch next week, allowing users to sell and share chatbots (GPTs) based on OpenAI's large language models. Developers will 'generate revenue based on how many people use your GPT.'

It's worth noting that these customized chatbots can be built using GPT Builder, a tool that doesn't require users to write code. Users can simply provide a series of natural language instructions to specify what tasks the custom GPT should perform and how.

The email asked users to carefully check whether their GPT creations comply with brand guidelines and reminded them to verify their profiles and ensure their GPTs are set to public.

OpenAI mentioned that custom versions of ChatGPT can also generate images. This feature is powered by the integration of GPT with the latest image-generation model, DALL-E 3. DALL-E 3 interprets user instructions more accurately than its predecessor and includes an expanded set of safety features.
