Alibaba Cloud Announces Free Launch of 'Tongyi Dance King': Generate AI Dance Videos with Just One Photo

Recently, Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi Qianwen APP launched the free feature 'Tongyi Dance King,' which can generate various popular AI dance videos with just one photo.
The operation is very simple. In the Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Qianwen APP, enter the codewords Tongyi Dance King or National Dance King, and follow the prompts to upload a photo. After waiting for about ten minutes, a dance video will be generated, which can well retain the original image.
It is understood that the Alibaba Cloud Tongyi Qianwen APP currently provides users with many popular dance video templates, including 12 dance templates such as "Subject Three," Mongolian dance, paddle step, and shuffle dance.
Moreover, @Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen official account mentioned that users can upload not only real photos but also anime/game characters, sculptures, figurines, private photos of friends, world-famous paintings, and even hand-drawn images to generate videos!
Media reports indicate that after the launch of this feature, it attracted a large number of users, with even the Terracotta Warriors, Ultraman, and Iron Man joining in to dance popular internet dances.
It is reported that the algorithm behind this feature is Alibaba Tongyi Lab's self-developed video generation AI model called Animate Anyone.
The model's functionality lies in precisely capturing users' facial expressions, body proportions, and clothing background features to generate personalized AI dance videos, offering high levels of customization.
Additionally, as early as late November, this research went viral on overseas media platforms such as Twitter and YouTube, with related videos accumulating over 100 million views.
