On May 18th, at the 7th World Intelligence Congress, Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360 Group, stated that large models are industrial revolution-level productivity tools that will bring about a new industrial revolution. GPT is not just a chatbot or an entertainment tool like TikTok that consumes people's time. It is a productivity-enhancing tool, not only a competitive advantage for companies but, more importantly, it functions like a power plant, transforming previously difficult-to-use big data from 'crude oil' into 'electricity.' 'Electricity' is universal, empowering countless industries and playing a crucial role in the digital and intelligent transformation of the real economy.

In Zhou Hongyi's view, the greatest significance of GPT is that it represents the first time humanity has encoded and stored all knowledge achievements. He said that GPT-4 is now the 'smartest person in the world,' marking a significant turning point.

Regarding the development of large models in China, Zhou Hongyi stated: 'I firmly believe we can build our own large models. However, we must soberly recognize that there is still a considerable gap between China's large model products and GPT-4. Liu Qingfeng, chairman of iFlytek, mentioned a gap of a few months, referring to GPT-3.5, but I am talking about GPT-4, the most advanced large model globally. Therefore, we should neither be pessimistic and give up nor blindly optimistic. Instead, we must work diligently to address our shortcomings. I believe that in the next two to three years, China's large model development will have significant opportunities.'

Additionally, Zhou Hongyi demonstrated the progress of 360's large models, showcasing the multi-turn dialogue capability of '360 ZhiNao' and the AI-generated image capability of '360 HongTu.' In a Weibo post, Zhou noted that these two products have made substantial improvements in cognition, logic, and reasoning, expressing satisfaction with the results.
