Xiaomi Group Debunks Online Rumors of Car Prices: 99,000 and 599,000 Yuan Are All Fake
-
Today, several price posters resembling Xiaomi's official style circulated online, claiming that the pre-sale price of the Xiaomi SU7 rear-wheel-drive standard version was 99,000 yuan, and the Xiaomi SU7 four-wheel-drive Max version was 599,000 yuan, among others.
In response, Wang Hua, General Manager of Xiaomi Group's Public Relations Department, stated that these images were obviously fake. "Not only is the font incorrect, but there's also no Xiaomi logo. They simply took a screenshot of the official website and edited the text," he said, calling the effort sloppy.
Wang emphasized that those interested in purchasing the car should wait, promising that he would "reveal the information on time."
Regarding the price of Xiaomi's car, Lei Jun had previously responded indirectly, first clarifying that 99,000 yuan was impossible and then dismissing 149,000 yuan as well.
Additionally, Lei Jun recently responded to a netizen's question, asking, "Is there any competitor under 500,000 yuan?"
