National Large Model Standard Test Results Announced: 360, Baidu, Tencent, and Alibaba Pass
-
On December 22, the results of China's first official 'Large Model Standard Compliance Evaluation' were announced, with only 360 Group, Baidu, Tencent, and Alibaba passing in the first batch.
The test was initiated by the China Electronics Standardization Institute under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). It evaluated models based on a multi-domain, multi-dimensional framework and indicator system, covering aspects such as generality, intelligence, and security of large models, as well as multimodal fields including language, speech, and vision. The goal is to establish a compliance directory for large models and promote the healthy and orderly development of the AI industry.
As early as July this year, 360 was appointed by the MIIT's China Electronics Standardization Institute as the lead unit of the 'National AI Standardization General Group's Large Model Special Group.' Leveraging its practical experience, 360 actively promotes the construction of national standards for large models and supports the development of China's large model industry.
Public records show that 360 is one of the earliest companies in China to focus on AI large models. Its self-developed '360 Brain'—a general large model with hundreds of billions of parameters—ranks among the top tier in China. Building on 360's expertise in security, it has also become the country's first natively secure large model.
