Intel: New Generation Core Ultra Processors Adapted to Over 10 Domestic Large AI Models
-
At the 'AI PC Industry Innovation Forum' hosted by Lenovo Group on December 7, Gao Yu, General Manager of Intel China Technology, revealed that the new generation Core Ultra processors have been adapted to over 10 domestic large AI models.
Gao Yu emphasized that Intel, as a chip manufacturer, has a clear strategic positioning in the Chinese market, which is to fully adapt to 'size-appropriate' models. He pointed out that the competition in large AI models is currently extremely fierce, with 4-5 new models emerging every quarter. For these new models, Intel has committed to immediately dispatching technical teams to collaborate with model manufacturers on R&D to port them to the platform.
Gao Yu highlighted Intel's cooperative relationship with domestic industry chains such as Lenovo Group, stating that this collaboration will be further strengthened in the future. Through close cooperation with partners like Lenovo, Intel can better apply its technology in real-world scenarios, driving the development of the AI industry.
Meanwhile, Lenovo Group announced the launch of the 'AI PC Pioneer Action,' aimed at promoting the popularization and implementation of AI PCs. This initiative includes two aspects: the 'AI PC Ecosystem Developer Program' for AI ecosystem developers and the 'AI PC Content Creation Competition' for AI content creators. AI PCs will create four core values. First, they will provide personalized services for general scenarios such as work, study, and life. Second, they will offer immediate and reliable service responses. Third, they will reduce the cost of using large models. Finally, they will ensure the security and trustworthiness of personal data and privacy.
