Alipay Launches New Feature: Free AI Portrait Generation with HD Export Option

Alipay has recently launched a free AI portrait feature, accessible by searching 'AI Portrait Studio' directly on the homepage to enter the mini-program.
The mini-program is operated by Zhi Xin (Shanghai) Network Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Alipay. Its official description states: 'Generate a personal portrait collection with just one selfie.'
Currently, the service is in a limited-time free phase. Users receive 10 film rolls daily upon logging into the mini-program, with each roll capable of generating 4 portraits. Additional film rolls can be earned by completing small tasks.
A variety of styles are available, including ancient, magazine, and astronaut themes. Services for group photos and family portraits are also in development.
The generated images support HD export, though saving one image deducts 3 film rolls.
Another interesting feature is the ability to specify the gender of the generated portrait, allowing users to see what they might look like as the opposite sex.
As for the quality of the generated portraits, opinions may vary.
