iFlytek Spark Now Open to the Public, Capabilities Comparable to ChatGPT!

On September 5th, it was announced that iFlytek Spark is the next-generation cognitive intelligence model developed by iFlytek, featuring cross-domain knowledge and language understanding capabilities, enabling it to comprehend and execute tasks through natural dialogue.
iFlytek has now announced that the Spark model is officially open to the public, allowing users to download and register directly via major app stores. iFlytek stated that it is currently the only A-share listed company offering a large model open to the public.
Research indicates that iFlytek Spark was launched on May 6th this year and has since been upgraded to V2.0. According to reports, during natural dialogue interactions, it can simultaneously provide capabilities such as language understanding, knowledge Q&A, logical reasoning, and code comprehension and writing.
The company also stated that iFlytek Spark V2.0's ability to write code in Python and C++ is highly comparable to ChatGPT, with gaps of only 1% and 2%, respectively. By October 24th this year, the general model is expected to match ChatGPT 3.5, with Chinese capabilities surpassing and English capabilities equaling it.
In terms of multimodal capabilities, Spark V2.0 has made significant progress in image description, image understanding, image reasoning, image-based creation, text-to-image generation, and virtual human synthesis, significantly enhancing the model's scene comprehension and intelligent support for life and industrial applications.
As of August this year, iFlytek Spark has been implemented in various C-end software and hardware products such as AI learning devices, office notebooks, iFlytek Listen, Spark Language Companion App, and iFlyCode, as well as in B-end business sectors including education, office work, healthcare, and industry.
Additionally, iFlytek has collaborated with Huawei to create an independently innovative domestic computing power foundation and jointly released the Spark all-in-one machine. Both iFlytek and Huawei have now obtained licenses for large models.
