On August 31, ERNIE Bot became the first to fully open to the public. Users can download the 'ERNIE Bot APP' from app stores or visit the official website to experience it.

It is reported that Baidu will also release a batch of newly reconstructed AI-native applications, allowing users to fully experience the four core capabilities of generative AI: understanding, generation, logic, and memory.

Robin Li, founder, chairman, and CEO of Baidu, stated that after ERNIE Bot opens its services to a large number of internet users, it will receive extensive real-world human feedback. This will further improve the foundational model, accelerate the iteration of ERNIE Bot, and create a better user experience.

Over the past decade, Baidu has invested over 140 billion yuan in R&D. This intensive investment has enabled Baidu to achieve significant breakthroughs, becoming one of the few AI companies globally with a full-stack layout spanning applications, models, frameworks, and chips. This allows for end-to-end optimization and industry-leading proprietary technologies at every level.
