    On August 15, the iFlytek Spark Cognitive Large Model V2.0 upgrade conference was held, announcing enhancements in coding and multimodal capabilities, along with the release and upgrade of multiple applications and products powered by the model.

    With significant technological breakthroughs, applications and products leveraging the core capabilities of the iFlytek Spark Cognitive Large Model are becoming increasingly diverse. These include the intelligent programming assistant iFlyCode1.0 for rapid code generation or bug fixes, the video creation tool iFlytek ZhiZuo 2.0, the Spark Teacher Assistant for designing teaching activities and generating courseware with one click, the Spark Language Partner 2.0 for student oral practice, and the upgraded AI Programming Space and AI Creative Drawing Board in the iFlytek AI Learning Tablet. Additionally, iFlytek and Huawei jointly released the Spark All-in-One Machine, providing enterprises with dedicated large models and collaboratively building a fully domestic computing power foundation.

    To date, iFlytek Spark has progressively implemented practical applications in industries such as education, office work, automotive, finance, industry, and healthcare, while also working with developers to build a new ecosystem for general artificial intelligence.

    The iFlytek Spark 2.0 upgrade includes enhancements in five dimensions of coding capabilities: code generation, code completion, code error correction, code explanation, and unit test generation.

    According to OpenAI's HumanEval public test set for coding capabilities, Spark V1.5 scored only 41 points in Python, while V2.0 has reached 61 points, close to ChatGPT. Based on the test set for real-world coding scenarios developed by the National Key Laboratory of Cognitive Intelligence, Spark has surpassed ChatGPT in code generation and completion. According to the plan, Spark's coding capabilities will surpass ChatGPT in all dimensions by October 24 this year and match GPT-4 in the first half of next year.

    To make the upgraded coding capabilities more accessible to developers, iFlytek launched the application-level product iFlyCode1.0, an intelligent programming assistant.

    Internal data from iFlytek's R&D efficiency platform, based on tests by over 2,000 employees using iFlyCode1.0 for a month, shows a 30% code adoption rate, a 30% increase in coding efficiency, and a 15% overall efficiency improvement in typical scenarios.

    At the conference, iFlytek showcased industry applications of its coding capabilities, such as enabling teachers with "zero programming experience" to use the educational digital base as a development assistant to meet personalized needs and custom development in school management digitalization.

    The upgrade in multimodal capabilities also presents unprecedented opportunities for AIGC. The upgraded iFlytek ZhiZuo 2.0, which leverages Spark's core capabilities, was officially released, making video post-processing and creative video production effortless.

    iFlytek ZhiZuo 2.0 further lowers the barrier to short video production, meeting diverse video creation needs and driving the development of the AIGC industry.

    For English learners, including students and professionals, iFlytek upgraded the Spark Language Partner 2.0 with multimodal capabilities, introducing core features like oral mock exams and situational conversations, enabling AI-powered real-life practice.

    On August 15, iFlytek Input Method's "AI Writing Assistant" began beta testing. The assistant provides scenario-based copywriting services for work, study, life, and social interactions, along with intelligent writing and polishing, supporting multiple styles for a smarter, more convenient, and fun input experience.

    The newly released Spark Teacher Assistant supports three key aspects of teaching design: innovative unit planning, situational teaching activities, and one-click interactive courseware generation, significantly improving teachers' lesson preparation efficiency.

    Powered by Spark Model 2.0, the iFlytek AI Learning Tablet upgraded two major features: the AI Programming Space and AI Creative Drawing Board, aligning with new curriculum standards to enhance subject learning and skill development.

    The AI Programming Space, the first of its kind in the learning tablet industry, offers one-on-one AI programming assistance, supporting Python learning, practice, code generation, modification, and debugging. Through interactive steps like Q&A, exercises, and code diagnostics, it helps children develop a love for programming.

    The AI Creative Drawing Board not only recognizes children's drawings but also understands the emotions and meanings behind them, fostering observation, imagination, creativity, and expression through encouraging discussions.

    With Spark Model 2.0, iFlytek Translator introduced the "AI Speaking" feature, enabling online English-Chinese conversation practice. Currently, "AI Speaking" covers 73 scenarios, including travel, office etiquette, and self-introduction, addressing most common oral learning needs.

    Since its launch, Spark Model has achieved significant results in automotive and finance, such as the Spark Auto Assistant and Spark Auto App, with the first Chery car featuring Spark set to debut soon. Next, Spark will empower various industries to drive industrial upgrades.

    On July 6, iFlytek announced a collaboration with Ascend AI to build a new general intelligence foundation based on China's independent innovation. At the conference, iFlytek and Huawei jointly released the Spark All-in-One Machine, enabling enterprises to deploy large models more conveniently, independently, and securely on a domestically innovated platform.

    The Spark All-in-One Machine offers five customization modes (dialogue development, task orchestration, plugin execution, knowledge integration, and prompt engineering) and over 10 ready-to-use scenario packages (office, coding, customer service, operations, marketing, procurement, etc.), with three model sizes for users to choose from.

    In addition to existing initiatives like capability openness, industry collaboration, and innovation empowerment, iFlytek announced further openness in assistant ecosystems, plugin markets, and Spark Camp, working with developers to build a new ecosystem for general AI.
