Domestic large model Kimi Chat suddenly goes viral: What are the Kimi concept stocks?

On March 21, the three major indices collectively opened higher and continued to rise. Driven by Kimi, Kimi concept stocks including the film and cinema sector gained during trading, extending yesterday's upward trend and rapidly strengthening after opening.
The Film and Television ETF (159855) led the gains. As of press time, the ETF rose by 3.45%, with trading volume exceeding 8.1 million yuan, a turnover rate of 13.98%, and sustained premium during trading at a premium/discount rate of 0.55%. Nearly all constituent stocks rose, with Huace Film & TV hitting a "20CM" limit-up.
Notably, the Film and Television ETF (159855) surged 4.54% on March 20 with heavy trading volume. Since March 15, the ETF has closed higher for four consecutive trading days. As of March 20, the ETF's gain was close to 9%. In terms of user metrics, Kimi's monthly active users were 508,300 in December 2023, 1.1285 million in January 2024, and 2.9846 million in February 2024. Recently, Moon Dark Side Company's latest Kimi AI Assistant has once again stirred waves in the artificial intelligence field. On March 18, Kimi achieved a major breakthrough in long-context window technology, increasing the lossless context length by an order of magnitude to 2 million words, and began internal testing on March 19.
Kimi currently performs well among domestic models. It is recommended to focus on three key areas: 1) Continuous iteration of domestic models, with upcoming multimodal models expected to empower application layers. 2) Application layers integrating models like Kimi to enhance effectiveness. Focus on companies making progress in AI+ applications. 3) Models as content production tools could significantly boost productivity and content quality in fields like film/TV, short dramas, short videos, and gaming. It's advised to monitor companies with quality IP reserves and film/TV content production capabilities, as well as those specializing in AI video models.
