In the latest news, OpenAI plans to release GPT-5 this summer. This next-generation model boasts significant performance improvements and is expected to further drive OpenAI's revenue growth. In a recent tweet, Altman hinted that OpenAI's products would change human history. At a recent Silicon Valley event, he further stated that GPT-5's performance improvements would exceed expectations. At the event, Altman emphasized that each new GPT model release requires more advanced features. He believes GPT-5's performance enhancements will influence every field of daily life and multiple business sectors, inevitably replacing and transforming existing paradigms. Regarding GPT models' limitations, Altman confidently declared: "There are none." He maintains that building Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) surpassing human capabilities isn't difficult given sufficient computational resources.

During press interviews, Altman highlighted how startups are underestimating GPT-5's capabilities - a critical mistake. He warned that companies underestimating GPT-5 will be "crushed" by the next-generation model. This marks Altman's first public commentary expressing such explicit confidence in GPT-5's performance, drawing significant industry attention.
