    Analysis of the 13F filings by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) shows that in the fourth quarter ending December 31, the pension fund newly acquired shares in Alibaba, Li Auto, JD.com, and NetEase. The analysis covered 1,079 disclosed investments with a total market value increasing by 16% quarter-on-quarter to $79 billion. Alibaba was the largest new investment for CPPIB in Q4, with holdings reaching 3.6 million shares valued at $279 million. CPPIB also newly acquired 1.7 million shares of Li Auto worth $63.6 million, 1.33 million shares of JD.com valued at $38.3 million, and 291,000 shares of NetEase worth $27.1 million.
