In recent days, the market has been inundated with news about large models. According to incomplete statistics, 93 large models have been publicly released in China. Amid the 'Hundred-Model Battle,' industry insiders believe that compared to industry-specific models with clear target users, the commercialization of general-purpose large models is more critical.

Journalists have noted that consumer-grade applications in office scenarios are becoming the 'early adopters' of large models, now available for direct use by ordinary users. At the Beijing International Audiovisual Integration Equipment and Technology Exhibition, which opened on July 19, iFlytek showcased its GPT product 'iFlytek HearWrite,' based on the Spark large model. This product is the first personal demonstration software application of the iFlytek Spark large model. Users can import files or real-time audio into the platform, and the AI will analyze the content, summarizing it into meeting notes, work plans, to-do lists, news articles, promotional copy, and more, based on user needs.

'After the major update, this application now supports not only audio and video formats but also document formats,' said Sun Pengfei, Product Director of iFlytek Hear, during a live demonstration of 'AI Writing a News Article.' For the same piece of text, the AI generated entirely different headlines and body content in three interactions. 'This shows that this large model-based application doesn’t just 'cut and paste' information from search engines but actually 'writes' based on learning and integrating textual information.'

Currently, DingTalk and Kingsoft Office have also integrated AI applications, both focusing on intelligent services. DingTalk has incorporated Alibaba’s 'Tongyi Qianwen' and will fully launch intelligent features. Kingsoft Office’s application, 'WPS AI,' is also supported by domestic large model platforms. DingTalk’s AI applications cover group chats, documents, video conferences, and low-code application development, while 'WPS AI' offers functions like drafting, rewriting, summarizing, polishing, translating, and continuing documents.

'There are too many manufacturers making large-screen hardware and large models now. Our advantage lies in being the first to combine the two, achieving a synergy where one plus one is greater than two,' Sun Pengfei noted. This consumer-grade application based on large models has also boosted sales of iFlytek’s smart screens and other hardware products, avoiding the fierce price wars in the conference display market.
