On December 27, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted on WeChat Moments to pay tribute to pioneers of China's new energy vehicle industry, including BYD, NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, and Huawei.

XPeng, BYD Auto, and Li Auto all issued statements warmly welcoming Xiaomi's entry into the automotive sector, while Huawei remained silent. Yesterday, Richard Yu spoke publicly but made no mention of Lei Jun's tribute, instead focusing on sales figures for the AITO M9.

Additionally, Xiaomi officially unveiled its first electric vehicle, the SU7, yesterday. Positioned as a C-class high-performance model, its pricing has not yet been announced.

Lei Jun paid tribute to carmakers, but only Huawei didn't respond. Huawei: "Well, I don't make cars, so how should I respond? And who came up with this topic anyway? Isn't this deliberately stirring up controversy?" The reason Huawei didn't respond is simple - it's not a car manufacturer.
