-
Wang Jianlin continues to sell Wanda Plazas, with Taicang Wanda Plaza being transferred to Zhonglian Fund. On December 28, news emerged that Wang Jianlin is executing his previously disclosed plan to investors to sell Wanda Plazas. The latest update confirms the continuation of this plan. Among these sales, the equity transfer of Taicang Wanda Plaza has become the latest focus. According to the latest information from Tianyancha, Taicang Wanda Plaza Investment Co., Ltd. has completed its equity transfer. The original holder, Dalian Wanda Commercial Management Group Co., Ltd., has exited, and the new owner is Suzhou Lianshang Sanhao Commercial Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Zhonglian Qianyuan Real Estate Fund Management Co., Ltd., which has now become the sole shareholder of the company.
Wang Jianlin continues to sell Wanda Plazas, marking another sale in this ongoing process. Over the past few years, under Wang Jianlin's leadership, Wanda Group has undergone a series of asset restructurings and strategic adjustments to adapt to market changes and financial pressures. It remains to be seen what Wang Jianlin's next move will be.
Official information shows that Zhonglian Fund's core business is REITs-centered real estate finance. Starting from real estate securitization, it extends to both ends, forming three main business lines: real estate investment incubation, securitization investment banking, and securitized product investment, covering the entire chain of themed real estate businesses.
In terms of real estate investment, Zhonglian Fund has established joint ventures with companies such as Japan's Hoshino Group, Tokyu Real Estate, and New Yuan Group, creating a "capital + assets + commercial management" model. The investment business model involves various fund types, including strong principal off-balance-sheet funds, mezzanine funds, and M&A funds, and has successfully implemented numerous real estate investment projects.
This year, some Wanda Plaza properties have been acquired by insurance capital institutions.
