Unisoc and Baidu PaddlePaddle Complete Level I Compatibility Testing for High-Performance 5G SoC T820
-
AI Startup Home reports that Unisoc and Baidu PaddlePaddle recently announced the successful completion of Level I compatibility testing for their high-performance 5G SoC T820, based on Paddle Lite tools. The test results show good compatibility and stable overall operation, marking a milestone achievement since Unisoc joined Baidu's "Hardware Ecosystem Co-Creation Plan." Key highlights of the compatibility testing include validation of computer vision technologies, covering three models in the field: MobileNet-V1, ResNet50, and SSD-MobileNet-V1.
The test results indicate that the T820 meets requirements in terms of accuracy, speed, and other aspects, demonstrating excellent compatibility with Baidu PaddlePaddle and fulfilling Level I adaptation and mutual recognition requirements. In terms of ecosystem co-creation achievements, Unisoc officially joined Baidu's "Hardware Ecosystem Co-Creation Plan" in February 2023, promoting the adaptation of Unisoc's hardware platform with PaddlePaddle's large models. Through this compatibility testing, the collaboration between the two parties has accelerated the adaptation work for customer AI application scenarios, taking a significant step toward providing more energy-efficient and technologically mature full-stack AI solutions.
Regarding future collaboration, Lian Shuo, Director of Unisoc's AI Lab, stated: "Moving forward, while continuing to enhance performance optimization and end-to-end deployment capabilities, both parties will also promote collaboration on large-model adaptation for edge devices to meet customer demands for AI applications in diverse scenarios, jointly advancing the prosperity of the AI industry ecosystem." As a globally leading platform-based chip design company, Unisoc will continue to focus on technological innovation, strengthen core competitiveness, and support the sustainable development of the AI industry.
