AI represents the new industrial revolution, with big data as the oil and AI as the power plant. AI is empowering all industries, reshaping all business models. The emergence of ChatGPT has overturned many of our perceptions and imaginations. With the involvement of global tech giants like Microsoft, Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu, the 'gold rush' era of AI has arrived.

In the era of large models represented by GPT, multimodal AI technologies such as voice, images, and videos are rapidly emerging, offering broader data forms, more application scenarios, and deeper user experiences. Recently, news about large models from major companies has been flooding the internet. Here’s an early compilation for your reference:

First Tier: Major companies represented by Huawei, Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, and ByteDance

Take Baidu's ERNIE Bot as an example. ERNIE Bot is a generative AI product based on a large language model, similar to ChatGPT. It can generate various types of text based on user input, such as poetry, stories, and dialogues. According to reports, ERNIE Bot currently includes the following five application scenarios: literary creation, business copywriting, mathematical logic inference, Chinese comprehension, and multimodal generation. ERNIE Bot is a generative conversational product launched by Baidu based on its ERNIE large model technology.

The ERNIE large model provides strong technical support for the upcoming generative conversational product, ERNIE Bot. As a large model built on Baidu Intelligent Cloud technology, ERNIE Bot will also be made available to the public through Baidu Intelligent Cloud in the future, bringing true AI democratization to industries.

Second Tier: JD.com, iFlytek, SenseTime, 360, Real Intelligence, and Other AI Companies

Taking Real Intelligence's TARS vertical large model as an example, Real Intelligence is an AI technology company leading the era of human-machine collaboration through its self-developed AGI large model and hyper-automation technology. Recently, it launched the beta version of its self-developed TARS vertical large model in a specific field. Real Intelligence has deeply integrated RPA with AI technology. Under the AI large model, RPA technology can leverage the advantages of AI's natural language understanding and logical knowledge capabilities to generalize and summarize. By simply describing business processes in text, it can generate an automated business process and create a digital employee, making process automation simpler and the generation of automated processes more intelligent and efficient.

Additionally, the TARS vertical large model supports private deployment and customized training, ensuring data and information security, and provides customers with "effective, secure, trustworthy, and implementable" "large model +" industry solutions.

Third Tier: Research Institutes, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Other Academic or Research Institutions

Taking the Zidong Taichu 2.0 multimodal large model developed by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an example, compared to previous large models, Zidong Taichu 2.0 has added modalities such as video, sensor signals, and 3D point clouds, endowing it with stronger cognitive, comprehension, and creative capabilities.

Not only does it possess multi-turn Q&A and text creation abilities similar to ChatGPT, but it also achieves full-modal input, supporting the understanding of video, images, music, 3D, and signals. Additionally, it can perform functions like multimodal search (text, image, audio), image generation, music generation, and signal analysis.
