    At the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, Alibaba Group CEO Wu Yongming announced that Alibaba will soon open-source a 72 billion parameter AI model. This will be the largest open-source model in China by parameter scale.

    It is reported that Alibaba Cloud has previously open-sourced the Tongyi Qianwen 7 billion parameter model Qwen7B and the 14 billion parameter model Qwen14B, with cumulative downloads exceeding 1 million.

    On October 31, Alibaba Cloud announced the official release of Tongyi Qianwen 2.0, which has a parameter scale of hundreds of billions.

    At the same time, Alibaba Cloud also released several application models including Tongyi Xingchen, Tongyi Lingma, Tongyi Xiaomi, Tongyi Dianjin, Tongyi Zhiwen, Tongyi Farui, and Tongyi Renxin.
